2019 IP Crime Investigators College Innovation Awards
Since 2014, the International IP Crime Investigators College has been celebrating excellence, innovation and performance across the IP and brand protection communities around the world. Our annual awards are designed to acknowledge and reward those making a significant impact with innovative and effective approaches to fighting IP crime in this global and very challenging environment.
These prestigious awards recognize the outstanding achievement of law enforcement units and governmental agencies who work tirelessly to combat counterfeiting and IP theft.
The award winners will be recognised at the IIPCIC Awards Ceremony and presented with their awards during the International Law Enforcement IP Crime Conference in Cape Town, South Africa on 22nd / 23rd October 2019.
All travel and accommodation costs will be provided for the winning IIPCIC Awards Nominees.
This recognition will be awarded to a police officer or unit for demonstration of outstanding leadership in the design and/or implementation of a unique and innovative approach to an intellectual property/anti-counterfeiting case. The ideal nomination would involve a case(s) that spanned jurisdictions or countries and the counterfeit products posed severe health and safety risks to the public.
This award is designed to acknowledge an individual(s) outstanding contribution to the IP community. The nominee would demonstrate the highest degree of professional standards through, for example, innovative work, training, technology or the success of law enforcement programs.
Anyone in the IP community including law enforcement or stakeholder partners and subject matter experts may honour exemplary efforts of a law enforcement individual(s), departments, team or specific units by nominating them to be considered for these awards.
The nomination entry form should be submitted via email to the Chairman of the IIPCIC Awards Nomination Committee: Michael.firstname.lastname@example.org no later than the close of business on 26nd July 2019.
